Arsenal
Arsenal hold the record as the team who have sustained their position in the top division for the longest time. They have been in the First Division, which then became the Premiership since 1919. the Club turned professional in 1891and changed its name to Woolwich Arsenal, (they were based in South London then). Woolwich Arsenal then joined the Football League in 1893. The Gunners moved to their current home at Highbury ( North London) in 1913, as a Second Division side. Following the First World War Arsenal were voted into the newly expanded First Division (now the Premiership), where they have remained ever since. In that time they have won the title thirteen times and the FA Cup ten times.
