GA stands for Goal Attack. The GA player starts on the same line as the Wing Attack player, facing the Centre position. The Goal Attack can move in all areas of the middle and home goal third, including the shooting semi circle.

The aim of the Goal Attack is to support the shooter and try to score as many goals as possible. Although the Goal Attack can move outside of the semi circle in the home goal third, they can not shoot from outside of it. Any goals scored from outside of this area are void.

The Goal Attack player also needs to help the Centre position make a legal pass at the start of the game and usually does so by helping the Wing Attack get free. The Goal attack tends to stay at the goal end of the court so as to retrieve the ball and be ready to score goals. They must also be prepared to collect any rebounds or deflected balls within the goal area.
