If you are playing for a good team, a lot of the time scouts will come to watch the team play to see if they can pick out individuals that are very good. This is your chance to shine but many people crack under the pressure and are thinking to much about the scouts and not enough about the football. Another way to get spotted is to go to tri-outs for a team, if you think that you are good enough and there you might get asked to play for an academy or reserve team if you're lucky, before maybe becoming professional and playing for the first team.
