Norwich City got relegated in the 2004-05 season. They upset Manchester United in that season 2-0. Chelsea were the champions, Arsenal 2nd and ManUtd 3rd in that season.

Norwich City were last relegated from the Premiership in the season 2004-2005.

Norwich City had started the season off very poorly however the side pulled out some fantastic results towards the end of the season to give themselves a chance of staying up. They managed some historic results against Manchester United - winning 2-0 and Newcastle United - winning 2-1.

Norwich managed to put the season into their own hands, by winning the last game of the season they would have stayed up. Unfortunately for Norwich City fans they were thrashed by Fulham away 6-0 to confirm relegation.

Nigel Worthington was the manager that had got them promoted to the Premiership and also relegated.

Worthington went on to manage the club until October 1st 2006 - being sacked after a 4-1 defeat to Burnley at home in the Championship.

Worthington had been one of the most successful managers of Norwich City - he is now in charge of Leicester City until the end of the 2006-2007 season.

Norwich City are still to be promoted back to the premiership since being relegated last in the 2004-2005 season.
