Portsmouth was promoted into the English Premier league in the year 2003 and has remained in the Top-Flight ever since. They achieved this great feat with the help of Harry Redknapp their manager from the year 2001 till 2004. However after leaving Portsmouth for Southampton, he came back to the 'Pompeys' in the year 2005 and is still their manager.
