The record for the most league goals scored at one club belongs to former Everton legend Dixie Dean.
Dixie Dean scored three hundred and forty nine league goals for the Toffee men in a twelve year spell at the club from nineteen twenty five until nineteen thirty seven. As well as holding this record, Dean also holds the record for the most career hat tricks.
A devout Evertonain, one of Dean's favourite past times was to score against Everton's closest rivals, Liverpool, particularly at the Spion Kop end. When he would inevitably score against the reds, his goal would be followed by a cheeky bow in the direction of football's most famous supporters stand, to which the Liverpool fans reacted to by making him their least favourite player!
A statue of Dixie Dean has since been erected outside the home of Everton, Goodison Park, to celebrate the achievements Dean managed for the club.
