Whilst as manager of Liverpool football club, Kenny Dalglish won the first division title on three occasions, the first in the nineteen eighty five, eighty six season, then again in eighty seven, eighty eight campaign and finally in the eighty nine, ninety season.
On the occasions they didn't win the league under Dalglish, they finished the other two seasons as runners up, coming second to Everton in eighty six, eighty seven and second again to Arsenal in eighty eight, eighty nine.
Liverpool also won the FA cup twice whilst under Kenny Dalglish's leadership, once in his first season as manager in the eighty five, eighty six season, to complete the double, and again in eighty eight, eighty nine, on both occasions they beat Merseyside rivals Everton.
