Mrs. Phillip was a ski jumper. She wanted to compete against other ski jumpers around the world. But where, oh where could she do that. So, she walked right up to the Olympic Committee and demanded there to be a Winter Olympics. So the committee listened to her whole story and thought it was a great idea.
