Well this depends on how you like your golf balls to be. There are so many different types you can get now including high trajectory, longer distance, more spin and many more. First you should look at the different types and decide which is the best for you. This is a crucial start to choosing the best ball for you. Most really good handicappers go with Titleists, Nikes or Callaways. These are very good balls to use and provide that little bit extra to make your round a bit easier. But, higher handicappers should opt not to use these because they can be very expensive and a higher handicapper will obviously lose them quite quickly. So for a higher handicapper I would recommend using Top-Flites or Wilsons as they are good balls and are much cheaper so you won't mind losing them.
