The best World Series, ever, for me, in my book was the 1955 World Series, the Subway series. One team was in Brooklyn and the other was in the Bronx. New York Yankees vs the Brooklyn Dodgers what a series. It was called the subway (underground) series because you could take a subway from one stadium to the other. It was one exciting time for New York City.
