Meet Marta Vieira da Silva (like so many Brazilian soccer players - she just goes by one name: Marta).
She's 25 years old, plays for American club Western New York Flash and represents the Brazilian national team too.
She is widely regarded as one of the best female soccer players in the world, and commands a salary somewhere in the region of $500,000 - the highest salary ever paid to a female soccer star.
While that might seem like quite a lot of money to you and me, if you compare that to the highest earner in male soccer: Cristiano Ronaldo, the disparity between the genders becomes very apparent, because Ronaldo is rumoured to earn around $22.6 million a year!
