A loose ball foul is just when two players are going to the ball or are trying to get to the ball and one player gets or aggressive and pushes or shoves the other player to get the ball. A loose ball foul is sometimes called a over the back foul.

After the loose ball foul is called -- how is it determined which team is awarded possession of the ball?

A loose ball foul is when neither team has posession of the ball ( like say the ball is rolling on the ground ) and a player commits a foul while trying to get the ball ( like a push or hold ).

So here's the situation!

A has the ball on thier opp. 30 yd. line, halfback gains 5 yds. then fumbles, (beanbag it!) 25 yd. line, as both teams we're fighting for the ball, B facemasks A (15 yarder) at the 20. B ends up with the ball at the 15. Whats the call, where's the enforcement spot, and what are the options you would give to the capts.

My view would be, loose ball foul before possession by B, enforcement spot from the previous spot, which by rule, the beanbag, Right?? Capt. has the option to take result of play, which he would not!, or their ball after penalty, ( which would be half the distance 12 1/2 yd line. Yes No Maybe.

A loose ball foul is basically a term that is used in basketball. This term basically refers to a foul that has taken place. But this foul is not committed by either of the teams while having the possession of the ball. In other words it mostly happens when any of the team is taking a rebound.

A rebound is basically when the ball hits the board and misses to go into the basket. The act of gaining possession of this ball is known as rebound, some of the other terms that relate to rebound are defensive rebound and offensive rebound.

I don't know about fouls but there are illegal moves...  Like if you take possession of the ball you must touch the ball with two players on the same rod before you can advance it. No spinning the rods. You have to make sure the other player is ready when you serve the ball by asking, "are you ready". You can't jam the rods as it is a distraction if the other player has the ball..
