On a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being the less dangerous and 10 being dangerous, I would think it would deserve a 1. Not dangerous at all. Actually unless the batter or the pitcher gets hit in the face wit the baseball. But it all really depends on what part of baseball is dangerous or not.
There are some dangers involved in baseball but far fewer than in American football and professional ice hockey.
I wouldn't say it is a totally harmless sport and there are certainly more dangerous ones. However I have known people to break bones playing it. Also if you have ever seen someone hit by a pitch you have to know that can be a serious injury. With all that said, most people play the game without so much as a twisted ankle.
LOL
The fans at games or the players the fans are outta control
When you consider the baseball is a missile weighing about a third of a pound and capable of hurtling through the air at speeds up to 106 mph (recorded by pitchers like Nolan Ryan and Roger Clemens) I'd hate to leave my head in the wrong place as one came whizzing through.
Of course there's danger (which varies according to the skill level of the players) but that's true of many sports. It's an acceptable risk.
Only the drive to and from the ball park.
It could be if you get hit by the ball.
I think it's the most dangerous sport. A hard ball is being hurled at you at least 70 mph then you swing a bat!!!
,I like to play cricket as well.
