I am a 8th grader playing on a jv softball team. I am a catcher, a good one to say the least. I've made amazing catches, outs all around the field, and have a good attitude. But the coaches keep putting me in right field and won't tell me why?

The coaches don't need to tell you why. If they needed you to play a certain position, then they place you where they need you to be. Baseball / softball is a team sport - everyone plays their part and hopefully will win a few games. My advice - keep your trap shut and go where you're needed.
