NHL hockey is my favorite sport and has been for over 45 years. In fact, I'm watching the Flyers (my team) get their butts whomped.
Are there any hockey fans here? What are your thoughts on the sport?

I love hockey. It's weird because I grew up in Italy and the UK, neither countries are big on hockey. But I guess I was influenced by playing the NHL games on my Super Nintendo, as well as the Might Ducks Disney movies.
So you can guess which team I used to route for.... Back in the days of the NHL's most exciting partnership: Teemu Selanne and Paul Kariya!
As for nowadays, I don't really get the chance to follow games too much, but I check out highlights now and again.
I'm not too sure what the state of the game is like these days, but it does seem to enjoy a lesser profile than NFL, NBA, MLB, and even MLS from a European perspective. Maybe that's different in Scandinavia though!
