Well, the simple answer is to quit playing district volleyball. The other answer is to have a talk with the parents, the school, their coach to see what could be worked out. If the friend is not doing the homework and turning it is, that friend is failing school.
Nothing is more important than education. So the friend needs to learn how to prioritize if they want to play the game. Otherwise, I would be pulling my child out.
