Karim Benzema is certainly not Jewish - he is in fact a practicing muslim who observes fasting during Ramadan. He was born in France but his family originally come from Algeria - he has 8 siblings!
Benzema plays his club football in Spain for Real Madrid, but is a French citizen of Algerian heritage.
But what a player! He has an immense talent especially for scoring goals. He’s been playing for Real Madrid since 2009, and together with Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo he makes a formidable striking trio.

I think he’s worth every penny of his 5 million Euro salary. And I'd love to see him play in the English Premier League.
