I have fairly wide feet and have been playing soccer since around the age of 8-9 (I am nearly 22 now) and I've been through a number of boots and generally been fine.
Here's the advice I would give if you are looking for soccer cleats for a wide foot:
Try different styles in the store
Ignore the brand name, it's the model that counts
You need to go for a run in them to tell for sure whether they are ok or not, when you put them on in store it will almost always not feel right.
Personally I'm using the Nike T90 because they are a good fit and fairly inexpensive compared to some other designs.
Like I said, take the time to try on different ones and get some practice in there. Once you have a pair of cleats that works, hold on to them as they will be the cleats you will base all other cleats on.
For the first time, get something cheap that you can afford to take a hit on if they don't feel absolutely perfect. But get more expensive boots eventually as they will save your feet in the long run!
