There are no indications that Jeff Hardy will return to WWE.
The wrestler moved to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) in the early months of last year because he grew tired of the demanding work and travel schedule that came with being a part of the World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment (WWE). The 33-year-old American wrestler retained the TNA World Heavyweight Championship title on February 13th 2011 by defeating Anderson in a ladder match. However, he could only keep hold of the title for less than two weeks despite retaining it again after defeating Rob Van Dam. On February 24th Jeff Hardy lost the title to Sting during an episode of 'Impact' which aired on March 3rd. After losing his Championship belt, he received a rematch due to the No Disqualification rules but lost the match within the first 90 seconds. Because of this, TNA decided to cut the match short for their viewers as they believed that Hardy was in no fit state to wrestle. Reports claimed the following day that TNA had decided to send Jeff Hardy home from filming the rest of the week's 'Impact' shows. Then on March 17th, Hardy's wrestling group 'Immortal' decided to part ways with him.
The wrestler has had his fair share of run-ins with the law. On September 17th 2008, Hardy was refused boarding access to a plane at Nashville International Airport because a Southwest Airline employee believed that the wrestler was highly intoxicated. Despite these claims Hardy was not arrested and cooperated by finding another mode of transportation to get home. Although Hardy was arrested in 2009 on September 11 on charges of drug trafficking and possession of anabolic steroids. The court hearing is still pending; however the district attorney stated that Hardy was likely to plead guilty to the charges.
