I HATE how it is covered. The events I am interested in are NOT during "Prime Time" or convenient times to watch . . . They always put the mundane crap on . . . Only so many running races one can watch and not get BORED.

Fencing, Judo, Boxing . . . Come on . . The good stuff.

The time zone issue should be less of a problem this year.

Recall the old days when ABC had the franchise. I think they did a much better job than NBC.

I watch some of the Winter and Summer Olympics. I sure don't hate it but some of it gets a little boring at times. I agree with Dark Majinn about the coverage.

I've been a life long fan. I was happy to see Michael Phelps competing again. Despite his issues outside of the pool, he is a beast in the pool. I don't know if we will ever see anyone quite like him in the pool again.

With all that said, the doping has me concerned. Does anyone else wonder why the Russians are only banned from Track and Field? Are we naive enough to think that that's the ONLY country AND the ONLY sport that they've been doping in? How would I feel about those Olympics if most countries are doping? I'm just not sure, but I feel like it's a black eye in the sports world.

I believe with the Russian team it is a systematic team doping, where others have individuals who are doping. When you have coaches and trainers backing the doping the team needs to be disqualified. I think with move, you are going to more teams being scrutinized.

I don' hate the Olympics, but I am not thrilled how they take over so much of the TV schedule. It starts with morning shows and goes around the clock.

I've always loved to watch the Olympics but I'm very disappointed in the doping, gender reversal and mechanical doping going on within them. It's hard to tell if the medal winners are true champions.

I love the Olympics. Makes me so proud to see the USA win medals. I tend to enjoy the winter Olympics a little more than the summer though.. (:
