I prefer sports that the players actually sweat and get dirty when they play. I guess I'm uncivilized.
It is obviously a requirement of advanced and civilised societies that they play cricket. Can you name any countries that fail "The Cricket test"?

I mean, forgetting the modern age ... Egypt was both, for it's time, and didn't have cricket. Same is true of Babylon, Persia, China, Incans, Mayans, etc.
