Actually hold them in the middle of winter so they don't have to haul 100's of thousands of tons of snow in to make the the courses. Actually hold each run under the same conditions so all competitors have close to the same surface to compete on outside.if a competitor falls do the runs/competition over.after all they have waited four years for a fair shot at making it around the course.(indoor speed skating).make actual judgements on the conditions of the course fairly to all competing and have a tie breaker between the contestants that fell so they can at least have a shot at advancing.i mean these players/athletes have worked for 4 years to at least have a shot. I guess what  i am saying is to make a set of rules to enhance not take away a olympians chance of play/advancing. Give them all the possible/fair chance to advance especially in the type of conditions they are having in canada. I just think some of the courses were a little how to say under the weather this year.in other words have them compete against the clock not the weather.i mean after all the inside courses are manicured to death in order to give a fair chance to compete so why not the same for the outside.blah blah blah yackity smackity.

Get Rid Of Luge.. It's For People Who Are On A Binge To Risk Their Lives.. I'm Not Sure About Curling Either.. Is There Too Many Different Sports? Just Stick To Skiing  Skating And Hockey.. There's Plenty Of Events In Those?.. TOO Many Reporters?  Why Don't They Have A Smaller Version Of Iditarod Sled Race??  Do They Have Snowmobile Races??

I don't think the Olympics could be improved, but the reporting probably could use some changes. I don't follow that closely to make a suggestion.

Now this is just my opinion, I think they should be held in the summer so spectators could be more comfortable.

Get rid of the cross country stuff - Rifle or not.

Maybe that's too harsh, it is a sport I suppose, boring as it is....
How about speeding up the incredibly long race to the musical styling of Benny Hill.

Even if it becomes annoying - at least it will be sped up.

I don't think they could improve the winter olympics even though there is always room for improvement (so they say). I have enjoyed wathching them this year. The only is does though is makes me feel even more cold than i already am & often wonder how they do what they do in such cold conditions. I suppose thats why they call it warm ups but i think i'd be too cold to even do my warm-ups. I'm 1 big baby when it comes to the cold. I really don't like it. I wish I could sleep through the winter.  Xxxx

For those of us who watch on TV they could reduce some of the commercial breaks.  About the time you really got into watching the event, they would stop and run 5 or 6 commercials.  I realize that the commercials pay for the telecast but it seemed very intrusive at times.  They could stay with one event until it is completed rather than switching back and forth between 2 or 3 events.  They are almost all taped anyway.  Why not show one whole event and then move to another?  In that manner, I can watch all of the luge if I am so inclined and not have to set through the curling events which I care very little about.   But overall in 4 years, I will be glued to my TV set once again if they do not change a thing.
