It changes the balls speed and the height the ball will go so as to say you kick a soccer ball at 70 mph it travel very close to the speed you kick it also if the pressure of the ball is low th speed it will gain but if it is to hard it will be to hard to kick so of you deflate to were it can barely be squeezed it will travel the farthest
